Be forewarned – this section explains a quirk in the game that some managers use to their advantage. Using this strategy includes the risk that your team may incur a lineup hole.
When a player has 1 remaining start and is locked in to tonight’s game, he can still be added to Tomorrow’s Lineup and used for that game, even if he doesn’t make another start in MLB. No stats will be used; the player’s box score line will be 0-0.
The risk is that if you do not pay attention, you might also have this player in Next Day’s Lineup, not re-check the lineups, and take a penalty in that game for not having a starter at that position.
