Draft Salaries – Starting Pitchers and Outfielders

Before each round begins the game computer calculates each player's salary. The salaries are the direct result of where you and your leaguemates have ranked the players.

For each No. 1 ranking the player gets $500K in salary, meaning that if every team ranked the same player No. 1 his salary would be the BBM maximum salary of $5,000K ($500K x 10 teams).

For each position in the top 25 lower than No. 1 a player is ranked his salary is reduced by $20K, e.g. $480K for No. 2, $460K for No. 3 and so on down to $20K for No. 25. Players that are ranked below the top 25 have 10K added to their salary.

If a player is not ranked in the top 25 by any team his salary would be the minimum BBM salary of $100K ($10K x 10 teams).

For example: a player is ranked No. 1 by five teams, No. 2 by three teams, No. 4 by one team, and No. 7 by one team. His salary would be $4760K.

Ranked #1 - $500K x 5 = $2500

Ranked #2 - $480K x 3 = $1440

Ranked #4 - $440K x 1 = $440

Ranked #7 - $380K x 1 = $380

Final Draft Salary = $4760
