Every BBM game is resolved using actual stats from MLB. Once a statistic has been used, it cannot be used again.
For Express and Lightning leagues, if the player starts for your BBM team and his MLB team, his stats from that game will be used in your BBM game. Otherwise, a previous, unused start will be used for the player. Live reserve and relief pitching appearances are used when possible.
Ultimate leagues use “Handedness” – a BBM team faces either a right-handed starting pitcher (RHP) or left-handed starting pitcher (LHP). If the player starts for your team and faces the same-handed starting pitcher in MLB (RHP in BBM and MLB, or LHP in BBM and MLB) then those game stats will be used. Otherwise, a previous, unused start that was earned versus the same-handed SP being faced in BBM will be used.
