Winter BBM

Winter BBM offers the experience of Express BBM, but during the off-season. Stats for a single day are randomly chosen every day, so managers do not know what day will be selected. However all the stats from the previous season will be used by the end of a BBM Winter season.

Winter also offers the following gameplay features:

• Stats: Winter BBM uses the regular season stats for the season just completed; randomly drawing one performance per game.
• Lineups: Managers create one lineup vs. LHP and one vs. RHP (like Ultimate BBM).
• Relief pitching: One relief pitcher list is used (like Express BBM).
• Free Agents: Free agent claims process after 1 day in the pool.
• 24-hour day vs. 3 days in a day: Prior to games being played (draft & preseason mode), a day works like normal; e.g. one free agent claim per day. Once games begin each day is separated into 3 "days". Game results occur at 4 am, noon, and 6 pm EST. Managers may change lineups three times a day as well as adjust rotations, make 3 free agent claims in a day, etc.
• League Settings: Winter BBM does not use trade review, LHP option, stadium effect, or show free agent bids. In addition, the default draft length is 1 day. The manager who established the league may change this to a 4-day or 8-day draft prior to the 10th manager joining the league.
• Playoffs: Winter BBM does not have playoffs.
• Length of Season: The length of season is 162 games (54 days). However if a league begins play too far into February it may end sooner due to the start of the regular BBM season.
