For Ultimate leagues, the top 4 teams at the end of the regular season qualify for the playoffs.
The 1st and 4th place teams and 2nd and 3rd place teams will play best-of-seven series. The 1st and 2nd place teams will host games 1,2, 6 and 7 (as needed), with the other games being played at the other teams’ parks.
The day that Game 162 results are available, these teams need to lock in their starting pitcher for Game 1 (For Ultimate leagues, the LHP option is disabled for the playoffs).
While a series may not require all 7 games of a series to be played, the schedule will not accelerate. The BBM World Series begins 3 days after Game 7 is played, and starting pitchers must be locked in for Game 1 of the BBM World Series on that day.
